Palo Santo

Palo Santo is most widely used for spiritual purification and energy (house) cleansings. Once the wood sticks are burned, the smoke is believed to clear negative energy and restore tranquility and calm emotions.

To use palo santo:

1. Light a palo santo stick.
2. Hold the stick downward at a 45-degree angle.
3. Let the stick burn for 30 seconds.
4. Blow out the flame. Place the stick in a heatproof dish to let it burn.
5. Use the smoke to cleanse the area or person you would like to clear of negative energy.

When using wood chips or powders, place them in a heatproof dish. Light them with a lighter or match, then blow them out after 30 seconds.

Never leave burning incense unattended.
